Nike ACG Backpacks

Continuing with the ACG series, Nike have released a new backpack. The capacious backpack features several storage pockets and straps suited for even the most serious of mountain activists. Features include a small side-pocket with water proofed zip, alongside two larger side-pockets with cover flaps that are integrated with reflective strips. The main compartment zips wide open, and can be securely closed with the draw string on top, allowing easy access for more cumbersome items. V-shaped straps keep the top cover intact while at the same time providing visually pleasing Asymetric. Two colourways of black/orange/grey or red/brown/white is available. Via Starcow.

JanSport Heritage Bag Collection

Taking hints from their rich heritage in backpacking, JanSport unveil their Heritage Collection, which features a selection of re-issued original designs dating back to the late 1960s. Including within the lineup is their Off Trail backpack, Hoss backpack, and Swinger mini duffel. All feature a wealth of throwback materials and construction including weathered nylon, weathered cordura, drawstring closures, antique brass zippers, seat belt shoulder straps, and premium leathers. All are now available through select JanSport retailers

CASIO G-SHOCK “CRAZY COLORS” DW-6900

The 2009 August collection of CASIO G-SHOCK watches features the popular DW-6900 drop under the theme of “CRAZY COLORS”. Satisfying the need of some G-SHOCK fans wanting bright, bold colors, three styles include purple, green and blue. Available at select retailers in the month of August.

Stussy x Freestyle Shark Classic Watches

Stussy teams up with Freestyle Watches to produce three colorways in the brand’s signature Shark Classic watch. The water-proof timepiece combines the timeless elements brought forth by the silhouette with Stussy’s iconic graphic imagery placed within the face backing and Stussy logo on top. Retailing for ¥13,440 (Approx. $144 USD), the watches will see a release on July 20th, 2009 via Stussy Chapter locations with the Black/Pink version being a ZOZO Store exclusive.

Zenith DEFY XTREME TOURBILLON ZERO-G

Swiss Watch maker Zenith introduced several very nice watches in their DEFY XTREME 2009 collection. The Defy Xtreme Tourbillon ZERO-G is a mean looking master piece that actually defies gravity. ZENITH has devised a Zero-G (zero gravity) system. The gyroscope cage Tourbillon comprises an escapement mounted on cardan joints rather like marine chronometers. The instrument, which is sensitive to changes of position, is kept in a constant horizontal position, thereby ensuring optimal amplitude for the spiral balance-wheel.

Nixon - The Lowdown

Its always a mess walking through the airport, having to take off all of your metals can be cumbersome especially of you’re like us and have your bones coated in Adamantium. Hamilton x nano universe “Ventura Chronograph” Watch

With a history dating back to 1892, American watch brand Hamilton has seen itself at the root of numerous memorable movements in the watch world. From its beginnings outfitting conductors with precision timing pieces to the invention of both the first battery powered and digital watches, nano universe links up with the brand on a revamped version of Hamilton’s iconic “Ventura” model. Spawning a special version of the “Ventura Chronograph”, the limited edition run of 50 watches features the trademark unorthodox shape with three sub-dials for chronographic functions.

CASIO G-SHOCK 2009 July Releases



In the midst of a large scale global tour, the following will release out of the CASIO G-SHOCK camp for 2009 July. A number of releases revolve around their iconic offerings, the square-shaped DW-5600 and round-dial DW-6900. Another addition includes the more contemporary stylings of the G-8100. All in all, it’s nice to see some more colorful releases as these have traditionally been restricted to collaboration models. Look fro these at select CASIO G-SHOCK retailers in July.

Nixon Black & Purple Rubber Player Watches

Following up on their blue launch in March, Nixon release two new colorways in their popular Rubber Player model, a spin-off of their classic Player timepiece. Various features within the Rubber Player include: 3-hand Japanese quartz movement, custom molded silicone case and band and a diamond. Retailing for $170 USD, both colorways (purple/black) are now available at 80’s Purple.

Casio G-Shock Data Bank Caculator Watch

UNDRCRWN x Nooka

The basketball and Hip-Hop-centric brand known as UNDCRWN team up with Nooka on an upcoming watch release set for later this June. The colorful striped design features a multi-colored polyurethane band with black aluminum case as designed by UNDRCRWN founder Dustin Canalin. With the ZENV as the model of choice, logos of both Nooka and UNDRCRWN are showcased. Limited to 200 pieces, the watch will release soon at NOOKA.

Mihara Yasuhiro “Half” Sunglasses

Among Japan’s most heralded avant-garde designers as well as a competent shoe designer thanks to his collections with Puma, an interesting set of sunglasses emerge from Mihara Yasuhiro’s eyewear collection this season. Whilst the frame itself is relatively conventional, the bottom part ends apparently, creating the illusion of only half lenses. Look for these at select MIHARA YASUHIRO accounts.

Cyborg 009 x Quolomo x CASIO G-SHOCK 25th Anniversary DW-5600

Based on the popular Japanese manga stemming from the 1960s, Cyborg 009 and Japanese brand Quolomo team-up with CASIO G-SHOCK on the original DW-5600. The premise of Cyborg 009 involved a team of 9 humans originally captured to undergo a series of robotic tranformations yielding a group of 9 cyborgs who band together against their kindnappers, Black Ghost. The watch itself is featured in all-white body with a black dial. Both CYBORG and Quolomo mark the top and bottom of the watch respectively while the watch band also features a printed deisgn. The watch as part of Cyborg 009’s 25th anniversary will release on July 19th at e-casio.

Pharrell Williams Custom Bape x Casio G-Shock

In the world of custom G-Shocks, Pharell Add another one to the collection with this new gold joint. Based on a Bape collaboration DW-6900, the watch is encrusted in gold while the G-Shock logo on the top of the face is left in rainbow colors. Of course this is an exclusive piece.

Black-Out Concept Custom Watches

Founded by Geneva-native Fabrice Letellier back in 2007, Black-Out Concept was born out of his own personal affection of all-black aesthetics. His initial treatments and custom projects largely involved only his collection of rare supercars and performance automobiles but quickly turned to timepieces. Recently seen in the MEN.STYLE.com 10 Essentials with Kanye West feature, Yeezy is among the people to take the plunge into the world of custom black Rolex watches. To ensure longevity, the black coating features a “two low-friction, scratch-proof finishes used by the military, PVD and DLC (diamond-like carbon).” Most watches can be customized for roughly $7,000 USD. The Hublot Big Bang King All Black Blue Watch


Diver watch elements on the Big Bang King include the 300 meters of water resistance, diver's style face with large legible dial, and the rotating diver bezel. Most of the watch is in matte ceramic. Inside is the HUB1400 automatic movement. The blue alligator strap actually sandwiches a layer of rubber that makes it more flexible.
