Violence In Cartoons

Many of us take all of out social cues from television. The first few people we killed is because the television told us to, but putting our murderous rampages in perspective, we can see where it all manifested. SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS. The crime rates in America aren’t high because of the poverty rates or broken homes, its because Tom went after Jerry with a wooden plank with a nail in it. And you don't realize this until you grwo up. Pop Artist James Caulty is helping us prove our case with his “Splatter” exhibit detailing what it would be like if cartoon violence had real consequences.

Now when we tell the defense lawyer that it “It wasnt us, it was the Smurfs!” someone will actually believe us.
